My name is Matthew Gilliam. I am based in Los Angeles and I write and direct narrative fiction as well as experimental work. I work in freelance videography, editing and sound recording for music and performance events and video productions.

I've filmed live events at various venues around Cincinnati, including the Cincinnati Contemporary Art Center and The Carnegie in Covington, KY.

I've shot and edited promotional material for the Smoke & Queers burlesque troupe based in Cincinnati, OH, as well as events for PRIDE and Cincinnati Leather.

I'm currently in post-production for a feature length movie that I wrote and directed and finished shooting in 2019.
